About Us

 I  am  a  certified Equine  Myo-manipulative  Therapist serving northern Michigan with equine massage therapy. Based  out  of  Petoskey Michigan.

I provide massage therapy to horses of all ages, breeds, and disciplines. My goal is to help equines athletes of all backgrounds be the best they can be.

Every horse is of equal importance and they each deserve the best care I can provide.

Length of Session

A massage session will typically run between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the horse.

How Often?

Horse that are in competition Or strenuous activities benefit from massage 1-4 times per month. All horses who are asked to do a job can benefit from massage at least once every 3 months.

Recommendations

It is recommended that owners turn out or hand walk their horse for at least 10 minutes before a massage. Only light riding should be done 1-2 days following massage.

What to Expect

Most horses will be relaxed and sleepy following a session. If the horse was in a lot of pain, they may be agitated or annoyed following the first session. The majority will have an increased range of motion.

Contraindications

Massage will not be performed if the horse has a neurological disease, skin infection, cancer, or is in shock. Massage is not a replacement for veterinary medicine.
